Our 2014 UMTA Conference was wonderful and we had many new teachers who attended the AIM Session "Be Inspired with AIM!", which outlined the program and its benefits.
Our follow-up sessions was "Success with Levels 6 - 10" which highlighted areas of technique, theory, and ear training that students will need to know in these upper levels.
Teachers were shown the "Additional Theory Resources" packet, available in the 2014 AIM Syllabus and on the AIM page of the website, www.utahmta.org. They were also shown the newly updated Ear Training Analysis Chart and Theory Analysis Chart, also available on the website.
CONGRATULATIONS to our 2014 Outstanding AIM Teacher of the Year recipients!
Denise Frost of the San Juan Chapter and Jenean Christenson, NCTM of theTooele Chapter. Bios and photos to come!

UPDATES are UP!
Hello AIM Teachers!
If you haven't noticed, the website contains a pdf file for the revised Level 10 Technique that will be used for THIS Summer's testing. Please read it carefully.
Also, Level 10 is doing Sight Reading this year, but it will be a short example. We feel that sight reading is still a very important skill for our graduating students.
Please use the SUMMER REGISTRATION form found on the website because it has the correct fees and address. Send all info to Juliet Preston by June 8th (postmarked).
